Roseburg Family Dental Care Believes
Everyone Deserves To Smile Without Hesitation
General & Preventive Services
Our “Preventistry” services focus on preventative care to help our patients avoid cavities,
Periodontal Disease, and other preventable oral issues!
Regular Dental Cleanings
- Performed by our dental hygienists every three, four, or six months
- The frequency of the cleaning depends on your individual needs
- Cleaning sessions generally take 45-60 minutes
- Our hygienists use gentle methods to remove calculus and plaque from your teeth
- Cleanings are crucial for preventing gum disease and tooth decay
Dental Exams
- Check for dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, oral sores, and oral cancer
- Look for other health issues such as nutritional deficiencies, diabetes, and hormonal irregularities
- Exam includes: digital imaging, photography, jaw joint inspection, and a thorough examination of your mouth and screening of surrounding tissues
Tooth-Colored Fillings
- Fillings are used to restore teeth affected by decay or breakage
- We use composite materials that match the color of your natural teeth
- Composite materials are layered into the tooth
- An intense visible light is used to cure the composite material
- The tooth surface is then shaped and polished to ensure the filling blends in seamlessly
- The tooth-colored filling is virtually undetectable in your smile
Digital X-Rays
- Digital X-rays use 80% less radiation than traditional radiography
- They are quick and can detect developing issues better than a visual exam
Periodontal Care
- Periodontal Disease (Gum Disease) can lead to tooth loss and jawbone deterioration
- Signs include: swollen, tender, or inflamed gums
- Gentle, soft-tissue laser treatment is used to treat Periodontal Disease
- The treatment produces minimal bleeding and pain
Dental Sealants
- Applied to the back molars with deeply grooved chewing surfaces
- They are made of flowable resin
- Sealants help to seal out food and bacteria
- They create a smoother surface that is easier to clean by brushing
- Sealants are suitable for both children and adults
- The application process is quick and painless
- Sealants can last for several years with proper care
- Regular check-ups are important to ensure the sealants are still intact and effective.
Cosmetic & Restorative Services
Our cosmetic and restorative dentistry services are minimally invasive and can help improve
the appearance and functionality of your teeth, giving you a beautiful and healthy smile!
Treating the Anxious Patient

- Patients who struggle with apnea and snoring often also have TMJ dysfunction. Dr. Braun can cater to patients in need of this level of care
Crowns & Bridges
- A crown is a cap placed over a severely damaged or decayed tooth that cannot be fixed with just filler material
- A crown restores the strength, function, and appearance of the tooth
- A dental bridge is used to replace a missing tooth
- Tooth loss can lead to shifting of surrounding teeth, difficulties chewing and speaking, and decreased confidence in your smile
- A bridge is permanently cemented in your smile and functions like natural teeth
Dentures & Partials
- Complete dentures are for patients who have lost all their teeth, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth are still present
- Dentures can restore the health, function, and aesthetics of your smile
- All dentures are custom-made to fit securely and comfortably in your mouth
- Dentures can help you chew and speak with ease
- Dentures can prevent facial sagging, giving you a more youthful appearance
Porcelain Veneers
- Veneers are porcelain laminates custom-made to fit on the front of your existing teeth
- Veneers can transform the appearance of teeth by concealing misalignments, gaps, chips, and cracks
- They are resistant to discoloration and can be customized to achieve your desired smile
- Bonding veneers requires removing a small amount of tooth enamel
- This treatment is often irreversible
Periodontal Care
- Periodontal Disease (Gum Disease) can lead to tooth loss and jawbone deterioration
- Signs include: swollen, tender, or inflamed gums
- Gentle, soft-tissue laser treatment is used to treat Periodontal Disease
- The treatment produces minimal bleeding and pain
Teeth Whitening
- Teeth whitening reverses discoloration caused by the effects of coffee, tea, smoking, and aging
- This is a non-invasive treatment that whitens the shade of teeth by several shades
Bonding
- Liquid resin is used to rebuild and reshape the tooth’s shape
- Often used in cases of chipped, broken, or misaligned teeth
- Treatment is affordable, can last up to 5 years, and can be done in a single appointment
Tooth Extractions
- Teeth that are broken or infected beyond repair often require extraction
- We will make this treatment as comfortable as possible and discuss tooth-replacement options
Root Canal Therapy
- If an infection has reached the tooth pulp a root canal should be performed
- The infected pulp is removed to prevent bacteria and decay
- The tooth is then filled with a medicated material and often restored with a crown
Implant Restorations
- Permanent tooth replacement option
- Roseburg Family Dental Care does not perform the surgical portion of an implant
